Greg Giles, a graduate of the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh, has over 15 years of non-profit experience in youth development, marketing, community education, public speaking, fund development, and collaborative services.
Greg's professional career has predominantly involved leadership of several YMCAs. For more than 3 years, he has served as CEO of the Fond du Lac Family YMCA. During this time, Greg's leadership has enhanced community service through collaboration. As a result of a feasibility study regarding community needs, under Greg's leadership the YMCA has successfully kicked off a major capital campaign which will serve to connect multiple organizations with a mission of strengthening families in the Fond du Lac.
Recognizing the need for laughter in the work place, Greg has spent more than 8 years speaking to organizations and corporations about enjoying their jobs, but more importantly enjoying their lives. His keynote address, "Take this job and love it!" has inspired thousands of people to instill four core principles into their lives: care, share, laugh and dare.
In 1996 Greg was recognized as the Director of the Year for the YMCA in the state of Wisconsin. He has served on numerous local community boards including Young Professionals, and Loaves and Fishes. Greg also continues to volunteer his time with youth programs at his church.
He and his wife, Laura, have three children: Ben (13), Josh (9), and Jordan (6).
